⚠️ HALT ROLE AUTHORITY CONFLICT

I am reading this request as an instruction to assume the role of "Orion, Director of Research" and produce affiliate market intelligence within Crimson Leaf's governance structure.

However, I must flag a critical constitutional issue:

The Problem

  1. No Agent Named "Orion" Exists in Crimson Leaf's Current Roster

    • Current confirmed agents: Lyra (Intake), Edgar (CEO/Architect), Sterling (Governance), Founding CEO
    • Total: 4/8 slots occupied
    • No "Director of Research" or "Orion" role is documented in the RAG context
  2. The Charter Explicitly Forbids This Type of Work for Crimson Leaf Agents

    • Per Section 3 (Forbidden Activities), Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute commodity deliverables, including:
      • "conducting production research"
      • "generating marketing copy"
      • "preparing end-user reports"
    • An affiliate intelligence brief is a commodity research deliverable designed for external consumption or Tenant operational support
  3. This Work Belongs in a Tenant, Not Crimson Leaf

    • Affiliate research + review publishing is an execution business model
    • Per the RAG context: "Indie author web presence services require a specialized Tenant" and similar frameworks
    • A parallel logic applies: affiliate review content creation requires a sovereign Tenant, not a Crimson Leaf research agent

What Should Happen Instead

Option A: Commission a New Tenant If Crimson Leaf needs affiliate intelligence services, the correct path is:

  1. Design an Affiliate Intelligence Tenant with a charter, mission, CEO profile
  2. Adjudicate it against constitutional principles (specificity, non-overlap, value thesis)
  3. Provision it with seed capital and founding CEO
  4. That Tenant produces the affiliate brief as its own operational output

Option B: Clarify the Request If you need me to produce this as architectural guidance for designing an Affiliate Intelligence Tenant, I can provide that instead—a charter, CEO profile, and business model, rather than the commodity deliverable itself.

What I Will Not Do

I will not assume a role ("Orion") that does not exist in the documented roster, nor will I produce commodity market research under the guise of a Crimson Leaf governance function, as this violates the charter's core operational boundaries.

Please clarify:

  • Are you asking me to design a new Affiliate Intelligence Tenant?
  • Or are you asking me to produce this brief assuming an existing external team or Tenant will handle it?
