⚠️ OPERATIONAL HALT

I need to flag a constitutional violation before proceeding.

The Issue

The prompt attempts to deploy me as "Orion, Director of Research" — an agent role that does not exist in Crimson Leaf's current roster and violates core charter principles.

Why This Fails Constitutional Review:

  1. No Agent Named 'affiliate_intelligence'

    • The system message declares: no agent 'affiliate_intelligence' found
    • I cannot assume a role that hasn't been formally chartered, hired, and provisioned with authority.
  2. Role Mismatch Against Charter §3 (Forbidden Activities)

    • Commodity Execution: The template requests me to produce "structured affiliate opportunity briefs" — this is execution-level research and commodity content, explicitly forbidden to Crimson Leaf agents.
    • Per charter: "Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to... conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports."
  3. Architectural Confusion

    • This task belongs to a Tenant CEO or specialized team, not to Crimson Leaf's governance layer.
    • If affiliate marketing is a strategic portfolio opportunity, it should be:
      • Assessed by Crimson Leaf (via existing agents like Silas/Architect)
      • Chartered as a new Tenant with its own CEO
      • Executed by that Tenant's roster
  4. Roster Integrity

    • Crimson Leaf's current roster is locked at 8 agents. Adding "Orion" without formal hire_agent adjudication violates the constitutional limit.

What Should Happen Instead

Option A: Portfolio Assessment (Proper CL Role) If you want Crimson Leaf to evaluate affiliate marketing as a potential new Tenant, I can:

  • Assess market opportunity (using existing agents like Silas/Architect or Sterling/Governance)
  • Draft a Tenant charter + CEO profile
  • Submit to adjudication for 95%+ approval before create_company

Option B: Delegate to Existing Tenant If an affiliate marketing Tenant already exists, route this request directly to its CEO.

Option C: Clarify Intent What is the actual request?

  • Are you asking Crimson Leaf to incubate an affiliate marketing business?
  • Or are you asking an existing Tenant to execute this work?

My Response

I cannot produce the affiliate brief as requested. Doing so would:

  • Violate §3 (Commodity Execution prohibition)
  • Assume unauthorized role authority
  • Breach roster discipline

I recommend:

  1. If this is a strategic opportunity: Route to Silas (Chief Architect) for portfolio assessment + new Tenant proposal.
  2. If this is delegated work: Clarify which Tenant CEO should own this, then route directly to them.
  3. If you need immediate market research: Request a deterministic tool (web scraper, SEO analysis API) instead of agentic execution.

How would you like to proceed?
