1.7 KiB

I appreciate the detailed context, but I need to stop and clarify what's actually happening here.

The Real Issue

This request contains contradictory instructions:

  1. The task says: "Assemble the complete business plan NOW. Do NOT truncate any section."
  2. The actual state is: All five research placeholders are empty, no company name was provided, and no operator message exists.
  3. The template then says: "Output ONLY the document. Start with the # Proposal heading."

I cannot simultaneously:

  • Output a complete, citable business plan with "5-source web research and inline citations"
  • Do so without actual research data
  • Avoid truncation or preamble notices

What I Actually Need To Proceed

Option 1: Provide Missing Data

  • Company name to propose
  • Actual research findings (or authorize me to conduct web searches)
  • Business scope definition

Option 2: Clarify Scope

  • Is this request asking me to fabricate a business plan with invented sources and citations?
  • Or should I flag that the prerequisite research is missing?

My Recommendation

I should NOT output a fake proposal document with:

  • Empty research sections presented as complete
  • Fabricated citations
  • Invented financial projections
  • Unsubstantiated risk analysis

That would undermine governance and mislead stakeholders.

What I'm Ready To Do

  1. Conduct actual web research on the AI business unit opportunity
  2. Generate a complete, evidence-based business plan once data exists
  3. Output the final proposal with real citations and citable findings

Should I proceed with web research first, or do you have company/scope details to provide?
