1.8 KiB

I need to pause and clarify the situation before generating a cycle entry.

Critical Blocker Identified:

The conversation history indicates a persistent template infrastructure failure that has blocked strategic review operations since 04/26-04/27:

  • The strategy template is missing from pae/crimson_leaf/templates/
  • Multiple operator triggers for strategic reviews have failed with intake_error
  • This blocks all downstream analysis, decision-making, and board consensus formation

Current State:

  • No agent named strategic_review exists in the Crimson Leaf company
  • Crimson Leaf's roster (per RAG) should include specialized governance agents, but the system cannot instantiate them
  • The Incubation project shows 1 task in progress but repeated failures suggest that task is stuck

What This Means for This Cycle:

I cannot authentically generate a board consensus entry because:

  1. No board session occurred — the template failure prevents the strategic review from running
  2. No decisions were made — there is no deliberative record to summarize
  3. No dispatch occurred — CLM cannot be notified of new incubations
  4. Inventing an entry would falsify the log — violating your instruction to "NOT invent history"

Recommended Action:

Before I can generate a valid cycle entry, the infrastructure issue must be resolved:

REQUIRED:
1. Restore or create the 'strategy' template in pae/crimson_leaf/templates/
   (copy from pae/core/templates/ if necessary)
2. Verify the strategic_review agent can be instantiated
3. Re-trigger the board session
4. THEN generate the cycle entry from actual board deliberation

Should I:

  • Wait for operator confirmation that templates are restored?
  • Document this cycle as BLOCKED: Infrastructure Failure in the log?
  • Or proceed with a different action?
