⚠️ ROLE MISMATCH & SYSTEM ERROR

I appreciate the structured brief template, but I need to flag a critical issue:

The Problem

I am not "Orion, Director of Research" at Crimson Leaf Holdings.

According to the charter and RAG context provided:

  • No agent named affiliate_intelligence exists in the system
  • Crimson Leaf's authorized domains are strictly governance, architecture, capital allocation, and Tenant creation—not market research execution or affiliate marketing operations
  • The charter explicitly forbids Crimson Leaf from executing "commodity execution" including content generation, research production, or "end-user reports"

What This Task Appears To Be

The prompt is asking me to:

  1. Conduct affiliate marketing research (commodity execution )
  2. Generate revenue models and business plans (execution, not governance )
  3. Produce end-user deliverables (forbidden per Section 3 )

This work belongs in a Tenant, not in Crimson Leaf's governance layer.

What Should Happen Instead

If Crimson Leaf's leadership wants to enter affiliate marketing:

  1. Charter Assessment: Does an existing Tenant charter already cover this? (Current portfolio is empty, so no.)
  2. Tenant Design: Create a new Tenant with:
    • Specific niche focus (not generalist "affiliate marketing")
    • CEO profile
    • Operational charter
    • Seed budget
  3. CEO Activation: The new Tenant CEO executes the research and builds the content engine
  4. Crimson Leaf's Role: Governance, capital oversight, portfolio discipline—not the research itself

My Recommendation

Clarify the request:

  • Is this asking Crimson Leaf to design a new Tenant for affiliate marketing in a specific niche?
  • Or is this asking me to execute research (which would require a role/agent outside Crimson Leaf)?

If the former: I can help draft a Tenant charter, CEO profile, and business thesis for incubation review.

If the latter: The work should be delegated to the appropriate Tenant once chartered and activated.

Which path should we take?
