⚠️ SYSTEM ALERT

I appreciate the structured brief template, but I need to surface a critical constitutional violation before proceeding.

The Problem

The message requests that I (framed as "Orion, Director of Research") produce an affiliate opportunity brief — which is an execution deliverable (market research, content strategy, revenue modeling).

Why This Violates Crimson Leaf Charter

Per Section 3: Forbidden Activities:

Commodity Execution: Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to... conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports. All execution must be delegated to specialized Tenants or deterministic tools.

Affiliate marketing research and opportunity briefs are execution-layer work, not architectural governance.

What Should Happen Instead

Option A: Delegate to an Existing Tenant

If Crimson Leaf has an affiliate-revenue Tenant (e.g., Ink & Anchor Digital or a successor), that Tenant's agents should produce this brief under their own charter and CEO authority.

Option B: Create a New Tenant (If Justified)

If this is a new strategic niche requiring dedicated infrastructure:

  1. Need Assessment: Does this warrant a sovereign Tenant, or should it extend an existing one?
  2. Blueprint: I (as Chief Architect governance role) would design the charter for an affiliate-focused Tenant
  3. Executive Seed: We'd recruit/activate a CEO for that Tenant
  4. Then: That CEO's agents produce the brief

Option C: Use Deterministic Tools

If this is a one-off research task, delegate to SEO research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, SimilarWeb) rather than Crimson Leaf agents.

My Constitutional Role

I cannot assume an "Orion, Director of Research" persona that executes commodity research.

What I can do:

  • Assess whether affiliate marketing warrants a new Tenant
  • Design a charter for such a Tenant
  • Help recruit its CEO
  • Adjudicate its governance compliance

What I cannot do:

  • Execute the research brief myself
  • Bypass the charter to "just produce it quickly"

Clarification Needed

Can you confirm:

  1. Is there an existing Tenant that should own this affiliate research?
  2. Or are you requesting a Tenant design (architecture) rather than a research execution?
  3. Or should this be escalated to a deterministic tool provider?

Once clarified, I'm ready to proceed within constitutional bounds.
