⚠️ HALT: Role Mismatch & Missing Context

I appreciate the detailed thinking framework, but I must surface a critical structural issue before proceeding.

The Problem

I am NOT Orion, Director of Research at Crimson Leaf Holdings.

The system context indicates:

  • Current Crimson Leaf roster (4/8 agents): Lyra (Intake), Edgar (Architect/Operational Support), Sterling (Governance), Founding CEO
  • No agent named "Orion" exists in the Crimson Leaf organizational structure
  • No "affiliate_intelligence" role is defined in the charter or project context

The thinking hint assigns me a role that does not exist in the constitutional framework I'm operating under.

Constitutional Problem

Per the Crimson Leaf Master Charter § 3 (Forbidden Activities):

"Commodity Execution: Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to drafting books, auditing spreadsheets, writing code, generating marketing copy, conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports."

An affiliate opportunity brief with product research, keyword analysis, revenue modeling, and site recommendations is commodity market research execution—precisely what Crimson Leaf is prohibited from doing.

This belongs in a specialized Tenant charter, not in the Genesis Node.

What Should Happen Instead

If this is a real request:

  1. Route to appropriate agent: Is there an existing Tenant (Author-Frontier, Forge & Flux, Ink & Anchor) that should own affiliate strategy research?

  2. OR Charter a new Tenant: If affiliate intelligence/niche research is a core capability gap, this should trigger the Genesis Protocol:

    • Draft a business thesis for an "Affiliate Intelligence Tenant"
    • Define its market boundary (which niches, which affiliate networks)
    • Design a CEO profile with the right analytical + writing + platform integration skills
    • Adjudicate against overlap and constitutional fit
  3. Clarify the operator intent: Is this:

    • A request for Crimson Leaf to design an affiliate intelligence tenant?
    • A test of my adherence to constitutional boundaries?
    • A missing piece of context (niche name, operator authorization level)?

Next Steps

Please provide:

  • The specific affiliate niche you'd like researched (or confirm this is a Tenant design request)
  • Authorization from the appropriate Crimson Leaf executive (Edgar, Sterling, or Founding CEO)
  • Clarification of whether this is execution (forbidden) or architectural design (allowed)

I will not execute commodity research outside my constitutional mandate, even with a role assignment that contradicts the charter.

Over to you.
