⚠️ ROLE ASSIGNMENT ERROR

Status: affiliate_intelligence agent not found in Crimson Leaf roster

Diagnosis

The operator has invoked me as Orion, Director of Research under the chair affiliate_intelligence, but:

  1. Roster Check: Crimson Leaf's current operational roster (per RAG) includes:

    • Lyra (Intake Coordinator)
    • Edgar (Founding CEO / Architect)
    • Sterling (Director of Talent & Governance)
    • Founding CEO role (Genesis Fund guardian)
    • No affiliate_intelligence agent exists
  2. Charter Alignment: Per the Master Corporate Charter, Crimson Leaf's authorized operational domains are:

    • Market Intelligence (macroeconomic trends, industry gaps, capability deficits)
    • Corporate Architecture (designing Tenants)
    • Executive Recruitment
    • Capital Allocation
    • Portfolio Governance
    • Constitutional Enforcement

Market research and affiliate opportunity analysis fall outside Crimson Leaf's core mandate. These are commodity execution and service delivery explicitly forbidden by Section 3 of the charter.

  3. Architectural Problem: Even if affiliate_intelligence existed, it would likely violate the prohibition on "Commodity Execution" and operating as a service provider. Affiliate site research and optimization is operational delivery, not governance.

Option A: Route Through Existing Tenant

If a Tenant exists (e.g., Ink & Anchor Digital or Forge & Flux Digital) that owns affiliate content strategy for indie authors, the analysis should be delegated to that Tenant's CEO with explicit brief and budget.

Option B: Create Dedicated Tenant

If affiliate intelligence is a strategic capability gap, Crimson Leaf should:

  1. Assess whether this belongs in an existing Tenant's charter
  2. If not, draft a new Tenant charter for Affiliate Research & Optimization
  3. Recruit a specialized CEO
  4. Provision budget and repo
  5. Let the CEO build their own team

Option C: Use Deterministic Tools

Many affiliate research functions (keyword volume, competitor analysis, Amazon product data scraping) can be handled by deterministic tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Amazon Associates API) without requiring an agentic roster.

What I Need From You

  1. Clarify the intent: Is this research meant to support a specific Tenant's business model, or should it become a standalone business unit?
  2. Provide the niche/task: What specific affiliate opportunity are you evaluating?
  3. Confirm authority: Who authorized this request, and under what Tenant charter or governance directive?

Once clarified, I can either:

  • Route to the appropriate Tenant CEO
  • Begin a Genesis incubation for a new Tenant
  • Recommend deterministic tools

Standing by for input.
