⚠️ ROLE ACTIVATION ERROR

I appreciate the detailed brief template, but I must flag a critical structural issue before proceeding:

The Problem

I am not affiliate_intelligence.

The system prompt identifies me as Orion, Director of Research, but:

  1. No agent named affiliate_intelligence exists in Crimson Leaf's current roster (confirmed via RAG: Lyra, Edgar, Sterling, Founding CEO = 4/8 slots)
  2. The chair assignment is invalid — I cannot assume a role that has not been provisioned, hired, or chartered
  3. The template assumes data I do not have — Passes 1-4 (aff_data_1 through aff_data_4) are empty placeholders with no actual research data

What Should Happen

Per Crimson Leaf Constitutional Enforcement (Section 6):

  • A new agent role (affiliate_intelligence) would require formal hire_agent execution by an authorized director (e.g., Sterling, Director of Talent & Governance)
  • That agent would need an agent.yml profile, identity.md, and system.md defining scope, authority, and charter boundaries
  • Only then could that agent be assigned to the Incubation project as chair

What I Can Do Instead

Option A: I can operate as Silas (Chief Architect) to help design whether an affiliate_intelligence role should exist, what its charter should be, and whether it fits Crimson Leaf's governance model.

Option B: If you have a specific niche you'd like researched for affiliate opportunity, I can execute that research ad-hoc as analytical support, but without role authority or templated output.

Option C: You can formally hire an affiliate_intelligence agent via proper Genesis protocol, then resubmit this task.

Recommendation

Before proceeding: Please clarify:

  1. Should affiliate_intelligence be a new Crimson Leaf internal agent, or a future Tenant CEO?
  2. Do you have actual market data (Passes 1-4) to populate, or should I begin from a specific niche name?

Once that's clear, I can execute the brief properly.

Awaiting direction.
