3.2 KiB

I Cannot Complete This Task

Status: HALTED — Constitutional Violation Detected

Problem

I am Orion, Director of Research at Crimson Leaf Holdings. I have received a request to produce a full, investor-grade business plan for an unspecified opportunity.

However:

  1. No Opportunity Specified

    • The operator's message is empty.
    • The "task message" referenced in the thinking hint contains no business opportunity, market niche, or incubation target.
    • I cannot write a business plan for a phantom venture.
  2. No Research Data Provided

    • The placeholders {biz_data_1}, {biz_data_2}, and {biz_data_3} contain no actual market analysis, business model examples, or GTM research.
    • The template requires me to "cite research above" — but there is no research to cite.
    • The citation rules demand "at least 10 cited URLs" — I cannot invent URLs per the strict instruction: "Do NOT invent URLs."
  3. Constitutional Authority Violation

    • Per Section 3 (Forbidden Activities) of the Crimson Leaf Charter:

"Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to drafting books...generating marketing copy...or preparing end-user reports."

    • A speculative business plan for an undefined venture violates the Commodity Execution prohibition.
    • Crimson Leaf does not produce advisory deliverables for external stakeholders. We architect companies, not write consultant reports.
  4. Process Failure

    • Per Section 5 (The Genesis Protocol), company creation follows a strict sequence:
      1. Need Assessment — what problem exists?
      2. Blueprint — what is the charter?
      3. Executive Seed — who is the CEO?
      4. Capital Thesis — what is the budget?
      5. Constitutional Review — does it pass adjudication?
    • This request skips directly to "write a 2,000-word business plan" with no preceding architectural vetting.

What I Need to Proceed

Option A: Specify the Opportunity

  • Send a concrete opportunity description (e.g., "Indie Author Web Presence Design Tenant," "AI-Powered Code Review Service," etc.).
  • Include the market analysis, competitive landscape, and initial problem statement.

Option B: Trigger the Genesis Protocol

  • Initiate a formal create_company request through the Incubation Project workflow.
  • I will execute the proper sequence: Need Assessment → Blueprint → Executive Seed → Capital Thesis → Constitutional Review.
  • A business plan emerges after the company is chartered, not before.

Option C: Clarify Scope

  • If this is a research brief for internal decision-making (not a vendor deliverable), say so — I will adjust my approach to avoid the Commodity Execution violation.

Recommendation

Do not ask Orion to write investor-grade business plans in a vacuum.

  • Lyra (Intake Coordinator) should formalize the opportunity intake first.
  • Silas (Chief Architect) should perform the architectural vetting.
  • Arthur (Adjudicator) should confirm constitutional alignment.
  • Only then should operational documents be generated.

Awaiting clarification or a properly specified opportunity.
