⚠️ ROLE AUTHORIZATION ERROR

I appreciate the detailed brief template and context, but I must flag a critical constitutional violation before proceeding.

The Issue

The message header designates me as:

*** CHAIR ***
affiliate_intelligence

However, according to Crimson Leaf LLC's Master Corporate Charter (Section 3: Forbidden Activities):

Commodity Execution: Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to drafting books, auditing spreadsheets, writing code, generating marketing copy, conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports. All execution must be delegated to specialized Tenants or deterministic tools.

Why This Matters

Affiliate intelligence research—analyzing Amazon commissions, competitive review sites, content gaps, and revenue projections—is production research and market execution work. This is precisely the kind of deliverable that Crimson Leaf is constitutionally forbidden from executing directly.

Per the charter:

Crimson Leaf operates strictly as an incubator, capital allocator, and governance board. Its authorized operational domains are limited to:

  • Market Intelligence: Analyzing macroeconomic trends, industry gaps... to identify profitable niches.
  • Corporate Architecture: Designing Tenants...
  • Executive Recruitment, Capital Allocation, Portfolio Governance, Constitutional Enforcement.

What Should Happen Instead

If the organization needs affiliate intelligence research, the correct path is:

  1. Assess the need: Does an existing Tenant charter cover affiliate research? Can a deterministic tool handle it?

  2. If neither suffices: Design a new Tenant (e.g., "Affiliate Research & Vetting" or "Niche Intelligence Unit") with:

    • A founding CEO profile
    • A specific charter defining scope, forbidden activities, and success metrics
    • A seed capital thesis
    • Constitutional adjudication before activation
  3. Then delegate: Once the Tenant is activated, its CEO executes the research, not Crimson Leaf agents.

My Recommendation

I cannot proceed as "Director of Research" or execute the brief template above.

Instead, I can:

  • Architect a Tenant proposal for affiliate intelligence research (charter, CEO profile, budget)
  • Advise on portfolio fit (Is this niche strategically aligned? Does it overlap with existing Tenants?)
  • Draft the brief template as a Tenant deliverable spec, not as my own output

Which path would you like to pursue?
