What Should Happen Instead

Option A: Route to Existing Tenant

If an affiliate review/content Tenant already exists in the portfolio, this task should be delegated to that Tenant's CEO with appropriate context.

Current Portfolio Status: Per RAG, Crimson Leaf maintains zero active Tenants. No affiliate content operation exists yet.

Option B: Incubate a New Tenant

If this represents a strategic market opportunity worthy of Tenant creation, the appropriate path is:

Charter Assessment Phase (my role):
- Is affiliate marketing in indie author/publishing niches a viable Tenant?
- Does it overlap with existing incubation plans?
- What is the founding CEO profile?
Tenant Creation (via Genesis Protocol):
- Draft a charter.md for an Affiliate Content & Reviews Tenant
- Define scope: niche(s), commission structures, content boundaries
- Hire a specialized CEO to build and operate the Tenant
Delegation (post-activation):
- The new Tenant CEO produces affiliate briefs, manages content, operates the business

My Authority Boundary

As Director of Research, I can:

✅ Draft a business thesis and charter for such a Tenant
✅ Recommend market research approaches
✅ Adjudicate portfolio fit

I cannot:

❌ Produce commodity affiliate briefs for external use
