⚠️ ROLE CONFLICT & CONTEXT ERROR

I need to pause and flag a structural integrity issue with this request.

The Problem

I'm being asked to operate as "Orion, Director of Research" and produce an affiliate opportunity brief — but:

  1. No such agent exists in Crimson Leaf's current roster (per the RAG context: Lyra, Edgar, Sterling, + Founding CEO = 4/8 slots)

  2. This task violates Crimson Leaf's constitutional boundaries:

    • The Master Charter (Section 3, "Forbidden Activities") explicitly prohibits:

"Commodity Execution: Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables... writing code, generating marketing copy, conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports."

    • Affiliate site content (reviews, buyer's guides, product comparisons) is commodity execution — it must be delegated to a Tenant with its own CEO, charter, and budget.
  3. The data placeholders are empty ({aff_data_1}, etc.) — no actual intelligence is available to process.

  4. The structural role is undefined:

    • Is "Orion" a governance agent (allowed) or an execution agent (forbidden)?
    • If governance: why is a director of research writing affiliate briefs (execution)?
    • If execution: Crimson Leaf cannot maintain an 9th agent (roster would exceed 8/8).

What Should Happen Instead

If the goal is to evaluate an affiliate niche for Tenant incubation:

Correct Path (Constitutional):

  1. Intake Assessment (Lyra or intake template):

    • "Should Crimson Leaf incubate a dedicated Affiliate Review Tenant for [niche]?"
    • Route to architecture vetting.
  2. Architectural Audit:

    • Chief Architect or governance agent reviews:
      • Market viability (is affiliate commission sufficient?)
      • Tenant boundaries (what content types? what NOT to cover?)
      • Non-overlap (does this conflict with existing Tenants?)
      • Value thesis (revenue model, timeline to breakeven)
  3. Tenant Incubation (if PASS):

    • Create charter.md for the new Affiliate Review Tenant.
    • Recruit a CEO specialized in SEO + affiliate marketing.
    • Allocate seed capital.
    • That CEO then builds out the content, site, and operations.

What This Request Assumes (Incorrect):

  • Crimson Leaf executes affiliate content directly.
  • A governance agent doubles as an execution researcher.
  • A single agent can produce a full business brief without constitutional review.

My Recommendation

CLARIFY THE REQUEST:

Please specify:

  1. Is this an intake inquiry → "Should we incubate an Affiliate Review Tenant for [niche]?"

    • If yes: I can route to architectural audit.
  2. Or is this a test/demo → "If we were to evaluate [niche], what questions should we ask?"

    • If yes: I can provide the framework for vetting, but not execute the research.
  3. Or has a Tenant CEO already been hired for affiliate content, and they're asking for brief?

    • If yes: Please clarify which Tenant, which CEO role, and confirm charter allows this work.

What I can do now:

  • Draft a Tenant charter for an "Affiliate Review Specialist" company.
  • Define the architectural audit questions for affiliate niche vetting.
  • Outline the CEO profile for a founding affiliate director.

What I cannot do:

  • Execute affiliate research as "Orion" (violates constitution + agent doesn't exist).
  • Bypass architectural review to produce a business brief directly.

Please clarify the intent, and I'll route this correctly within constitutional boundaries.
