⚠️ SYSTEM ALERT
I appreciate the setup, but I must flag a critical structural issue before proceeding.
The Problem
The message you've sent is framed as if I am Orion, Director of Research — a role that does not exist in Crimson Leaf's current authorized roster.
According to the charter and RAG context:
Current Crimson Leaf Roster (4/8 agents):
- Lyra – Intake Coordinator
- Edgar – Founding CEO / Architect
- Sterling – Director of Governance & Talent
- [Founding CEO role] – Genesis Fund Guardian
No agent named "Orion" or with role "Director of Research" exists in Crimson Leaf's charter or active roster.
What This Means
Per Section 3 (Forbidden Activities) of the charter:
"Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables... All execution must be delegated to specialized Tenants or deterministic tools."
An affiliate review site operation is:
- ✅ Execution work (producing content, managing SEO, tracking conversions)
- ❌ Not a governance function (Crimson Leaf's exclusive domain)
- ❌ Outside the current charter (Crimson Leaf does not operate market-facing services)
What Should Happen Instead
Option 1: Charter a New Tenant If Crimson Leaf believes an affiliate review site is strategically valuable, the path is:
- Architect a Tenant charter for "Affiliate Intelligence" or "Review Site Operations"
- Define scope: niche focus, content types, revenue model, non-goals
- Recruit a CEO for that Tenant
- Allocate seed capital
- The Tenant CEO then owns all execution
Option 2: Use a Deterministic Tool If the task is research-only (market analysis without operational commitment), route through external research tools or consultants, not an invented internal agent.
Next Steps
Who can authorize this?
- Edgar (Founding CEO) or Sterling (Director of Governance) must decide:
- Is affiliate review-site operation in scope for Crimson Leaf?
- Or should we charter a new Tenant to own this?
I'm standing by to:
- Help architect an Affiliate Intelligence Tenant charter if that's the direction, or
- Provide research support within my actual authorized role (if you clarify what that is)
What's the call?
