2.5 KiB

I appreciate the detailed charter context, but I need to flag a critical structural issue before proceeding.

The Problem

You've asked me to produce a business plan as Orion, Director of Research, but:

  1. No opportunity message was provided. The *** CURRENT MESSAGE *** section is empty. There is no task description, market niche, problem statement, or customer segment for me to analyze.

  2. No research data was attached. The placeholders {biz_data_1}, {biz_data_2}, and {biz_data_3} (Business Model Examples, GTM Research, Risk Research) are empty. Without this foundation, I cannot cite sources, benchmark pricing, or validate assumptions.

  3. I'm not chartered to do this work. According to the Crimson Leaf charter, I (as an agent) am prohibited from:

    • Commodity Execution: "Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to drafting books, auditing spreadsheets, writing code, generating marketing copy, conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports."
    • A business plan for external funding is an end-user deliverable.

What Should Happen Instead

Per the Genesis Protocol and the charter's Forbidden Activities section:

  1. The operator must provide the opportunity details — the market niche, problem statement, target customer, and competitive context.

  2. Research data must be supplied — URLs, benchmarks, and failure case studies to ground citations.

  3. A dedicated Tenant should be chartered to handle business planning as a sovereign service offering, OR the request should route to an existing Tenant if one exists.

  4. If this is an internal Genesis incubation, I (Orion) should perform research and strategic input, but a dedicated business-planning Tenant should execute the deliverable.

What I Can Do Now

  • Clarify the opportunity: What business are you considering? Who is the customer? What problem does it solve?
  • Identify the right agent: Should this be routed to an existing Tenant, or does a new business-planning Tenant need to be chartered?
  • Provide strategic research support to feed into a proper business plan workflow.

Please provide:

  1. The opportunity description (market, customer, problem, solution)
  2. The research data (URLs, benchmarks, competitive intel)
  3. Confirmation of whether this is an internal Genesis decision or an external deliverable that needs a Tenant

Then I can proceed appropriately.
