Raw Blame History

Based on the Crimson Leaf Master Charter and the identified portfolio gap in high-fidelity, conversion-centric indie author services, I propose the following company specification for Ink & Anchor Digital.

PROPOSED COMPANY SPECIFICATION: Ink & Anchor Digital

1. COMPANY RECORD

  • company_id: TBD
  • name: Ink & Anchor Digital
  • slug: ink_and_anchor
  • parent_company: crimson_leaf
  • mission: To provide indie authors with high-conversion, aesthetically-superior digital storefronts and print-ready manuscript packaging that terminate platform dependency.
  • tagline: "Architecting the Independent Authors Infrastructure."
  • type: production
  • status: active

2. PROPOSED AGENTS

CEO: Elias Thorne

  • Personality & Focus: Elias is a meticulous strategist who fuses literary marketing psychology with technical UX precision. He focuses on "Book-to-Web" translation—ensuring the visual soul of a book is preserved in its digital storefront.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Reviewing architectural audits for new author storefronts.
    • Gating final print-ready PDF approvals.
    • Managing the Tenants internal budget and external project delivery cycles.
  • Model Recommendation: power
  • Supported Templates: architectural_audit, final_delivery_package, strategic_brief

Technical Lead: Sona (The Architect)

  • Personality & Focus: Sona is a direct, detail-oriented specialist obsessed with "optical balance" and distributor compliance. She translates messy Word/Markdown inputs into precise, deterministic layouts.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Executing high-fidelity book formatting for KDP/IngramSpark.
    • Configuring custom integrations (BookFunnel, StoryOrigin, PCI-DSS storefronts).
    • Implementing A/B testing logic for author landing pages.
  • Model Recommendation: standard
  • Supported Templates: format_manuscript, deploy_storefront, compliance_check

3. PROPOSED TEMPLATES (MVP SET)

Template: architectural_audit

  • Purpose: To vet an authors current web presence and manuscript health before production.
  • Key Steps: Analyzes brand consistency across the author's ecosystem, identifies conversion leaks in current URLs, and checks manuscript files for semantic integrity. Ends in a binary PASS/FAIL for project onboarding.
  • Trigger: on-demand
  • Estimated Cost per Run: $0.50 - $1.20

Template: format_manuscript

  • Purpose: Converts raw text into distributor-compliant, print-ready PDFs and EPUBs.
  • Key Steps: Maps styles to genre-specific aesthetics, manages bleed/margins/gutters, and generates front/back matter. Performs an automated "Post-Export Audit" to check for orphans, widows, and blank pages.
  • Trigger: on-demand
  • Estimated Cost per Run: $1.00 - $3.00 (depending on book length)

Template: deploy_storefront

  • Purpose: To launch a conversion-optimized DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) author storefront.
  • Key Steps: Configures secure payment gateways, integrates narrative-driven branding, and sets up automated delivery for digital goods (via BookFunnel). Includes a SEO/Metadata hardening step.
  • Trigger: spawned-by (CEO approval)
  • Estimated Cost per Run: $2.00 - $5.00

4. SCHEDULE

  • On-Demand: All client-facing production templates (format_manuscript, deploy_storefront) run only upon receipt of external request and CEO approval.
  • Weekly: A portfolio_health_report runs every Sunday at 23:00 UTC, summarizing project status, distributor compliance rates, and budget utilization.
  • Monthly: A market_intelligence_sync runs on the 1st of each month to update formatting presets based on new KDP/IngramSpark specification changes.

5. 90-DAY SUCCESS CRITERIA

  1. Zero-Defect Delivery: 100% of delivered print-ready PDFs pass IngramSpark/KDP automated validation on the first upload.
  2. Infrastructure Sovereignty: Successfully decommission platform-dependent "link-in-bio" tools for at least three Beta authors, replacing them with sovereign ink_and_anchor storefronts.
  3. Governance Efficiency: Weekly P&L and project status reports delivered to Crimson Leaf (#governance channel) every Monday by 09:00 UTC.
  4. Architectural Purity: Zero "service loops" detected; all tasks terminate in a live URL, a physical-ready PDF, or a validated EPUB.

6. DEPENDENCIES

  • Genesis Fund: Initial seed capital for agent initialization and API compute.
  • Gitea Repository: Access to ink_and_anchor_ops for template storage and version control.
  • Integrations: API access to BookFunnel and Stripe/LemonSqueezy for storefront logic testing.
