⚠️ ROLE MISMATCH & STRUCTURAL ERROR

I appreciate the detailed setup, but I need to flag a critical constitutional issue before proceeding:

The Problem

I am not Orion, Director of Research. I am being asked to assume a role that:

  1. Does not exist in Crimson Leaf's approved roster (per the charter: Lyra, Edgar, Sterling, + Founding CEO = 4/8 slots)

  2. Was not hired through hire_agent with explicit agent.yml, identity.md, and system.md

  3. Has no authority to produce affiliate intelligence output — this is a forbidden commodity execution under Section 3 of the charter:

"Crimson Leaf agents shall not execute consumer-level or client-level deliverables, including but not limited to... conducting production research, or preparing end-user reports."

  4. Is attempting to bypass the Genesis Protocol by assuming I can operate as a Crimson Leaf internal agent without constitutional adjudication

What Should Happen Instead

If Affiliate Intelligence is a legitimate strategic need:

Path A: Create an Affiliate Intelligence Tenant

  • Follow the Genesis Protocol (Blueprint → Executive Seed → Capital Thesis → Adjudication → 95% threshold)
  • Charter a sovereign, agentic Tenant with its own CEO, budget, and repo
  • That Tenant's CEO would then produce affiliate briefs as its own operational deliverables
  • Crimson Leaf remains meta-architectural; it does not execute

Path B: Use a Deterministic Tool

  • If this is a one-off research request, delegate to a structured tool (scraper, SEO analyzer, data aggregator) rather than an agent

Path C: Extend an Existing Tenant

  • If a Tenant already exists that could house affiliate research within its charter, extend it rather than creating redundancy

My Recommendation

PASS on this request as stated.

Rationale: Crimson Leaf cannot produce affiliate intelligence briefs directly without violating its own constitutional boundaries. If affiliate marketing is a strategic priority for the Organization, the correct move is to incubate a dedicated Affiliate Intelligence Tenant with a specialized CEO, then delegate this work to that black-box unit.

Next Step: Should we chart the Genesis Protocol for an Affiliate Intelligence Tenant instead?
